1. Position : Business Development & Pricing Manager
Grade : M4
Reporting to : Director of Business Development & Marketing
Location : MPC Head Office
Purpose: The Business Development and Pricing Manager will work towards increasing the Corporations’ revenues by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long term business growth strategies. The Business Development & Pricing Manager will also oversee client-relationship management, sales, innovations and pricing.
Duties / Responsibilities
· Formulating and implementing the business development strategy in alignment with the overall organizational strategy
· Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
· Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
· Taking accountability for customer relations and retention management.
· Developing strategies for lead generation, monitoring, and conversion, including reports
showing lead generation success and failure rates.
· Developing sales infrastructure, incentive structure and key performance indicators to help monitor targets.
· Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
Qualification and Experience
· Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
· Seven years’ experience in business development.
2. Position : Internal Audit Manager
Grade : M5
Location : MPC Head Office
Reporting to : Head of Internal Audit and Risk Compliance
Duties and Responsibilities
· Formulation of strategic and annual internal audit work plans.
· Conducting internal and investigative audits in liaison with relevant stake holders.
· Reviewing internal audit reports, assignment plans, programs and all working papers.
· Leading internal audit teams on audit assignments and follow up.
· Reviewing and advising on the effectiveness and adequacy of financial and operational systems and procedures.
· Checking compliance with internal control procedures, statutory rules and regulations.
· Supervising internal auditors at Head Office and Regional Offices
· Perform other related assignments as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit
Job
requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Auditing and those with professional qualification such as ACCA, CIA, CISA and CIMA will be added advantage.
· Good working knowledge of auditing software, Internal Audit Standards and Risk Based Audit Methodologies.
· At least 4 years’ experience pertaining to internal and external audit environment.
3. Position : Estates Manager
Grade : M5
Location : MPC Head Office
Reporting to : Director of Corporate Services
Duties and responsibilities
· Preparing and managing budgets.
· Managing all administrative tasks like submitting insurance claims, filing legal documents, and preparing invoices.
· Setting rental rates, negotiating and enforcing lease agreements.
· Collecting rent, dealing with late payments, and handling operational expenses.
· Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenances, etc.
· Preparing reports on the financial performance of properties.
· Terminating leases and initiating eviction proceedings.
Job requirements:
· Bachelor of Science in Land Economy, Land Management (Estates Management) or related fields.
· A minimum of 5 year ‘s working experience.
4.
Position : Legal Officer
Grade : M6
Location : MPC Head Office
Reporting to : Legal Affairs Manager
Duties / Responsibilities
· Providing overall support to the Legal Affairs Manager
· Conducting litigation on behalf of the Corporation
· Monitoring all legal affairs of the Corporation
· Assisting in drafting of legal documents
· Conducting research on legal issues and assisting in interpreting laws to advise the Corporation
· Supervising support staff
· Liaising with external counsel
Qualification and Experience
· Bachelor of Laws from a recognized institution.
· Admitted to the Malawian bar.
· 1 – 2 years of experience in active litigation.
