MALAWI POST, SERVING MORE THAN LOGISTICS
The Malawi Posts Corporation (MPC) has leased out its conference center to Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), for the University’s Blantyre campus. The signing ceremony took place on Friday, 10th August, 2024.
The Postmaster General, Angel Banda explained that, as household brand, MPC is excited to explore ways of better serving the people while at the same time improving its business strategies in order to ensure growth and sustainability.
“This signifies the realization of Corporation’s business strategy of revenue expansion”. At the same time, she added that, by releasing the premises to MUST, the corporation is making Contributing to Malawi vision 2063 Enabler 5, which stipulates that, for Malawi to attain sound human capital development, there is need for high quality education that incorporates strong element of academic excellence and technical and vocational skills fit for the labor market.
MUST’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Address Malata said, now at ten years, the University has grown, demand has increased hence they’ve adopted the approach of taking the service the people in order to maximize its services uptake, hence the securing the Blantyre campus is very crucial.
MPC is intensifying partnerships to benefit from synergies, a strategy that is evidently proving viable.
